Wednesday, July 3rd's Sharks Game Postponed

Tonight's game between the Wilmington Sharks and Edenton Steamers has been postponed to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 17th at Buck Hardee Field. The Sharks "Jaws-N-Paws" event will still go on as scheduled on the 17th. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs out to the game, with all dogs receiving free admittance to the ballpark.

Gates will open at 5 PM, with the first pitch of game one slated for 6:05 PM. The second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games will be 7 inning contests. 

Fans with General Admission tickets from July 3rd's contest can use those tickets for the July 17th doubleheader. Tickets will be good for both game one and game two.

Fans with Reserved Bleachers or Home Plate Box Tickets from the postponed game are encouraged to call the Sharks at (910) 343-5621 to exchange their tickets for the makeup date on the 17th. 

The Sharks will return to action tomorrow night as they travel to Wilson to take on the Tobs in an Independence Day match up. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.

The Sharks will host the Holly Springs Salamanders on Saturday July 6th. Gates will open at 6:00pm, for a 7:05 start time. The first 500 kids though the gates will receive a Sharks replica jersey. Game worn jerseys are up for auction, and can be bid on by downloading the LiveSouce app. Tickets for Saturday can be purchased by visiting www.wilmingtonsharks.com or by calling the Sharks front office at 910-343-5621.
